Trying to recall the name of a British film from the early 1950's
('53?), about a scientist who steals a suitcase-size nuclear device
from his research lab and threatens to blow up London if the
government does not renounce research into nuclear weapons by
(midnight? noon?) on a specified date. Saw it on Turner some years
ago, and enjoyed it, but darned if I can remember the title. Seems it
was something like 'so many minutes to midnight/noon/doom' or
something like that. I think....
Worked a lot of combinations in IMDB, but can't seem to hit on the
right one. Would appreciate a clue, if anyone has one. Thanks.
