etc.
I used a LOT manufactures, from SONY to VERBATIM and with a Pioneer quality
burner. I found even using ImgBurn at various speeds STILL created coasters,
despite verify turned on.
With the cost of USB 3.0 spinner coming down to the point where $80-$90 gets a
4-Tb drive (Wester Digitals), I started moving / requiring my material. Not
only am I no longer limited to the size of the optical disc, my content is
portable across all OSs. I currently have 40 drives arranged by TV / Movie /
Other based on the year they content was released.
In addition this allows me to use an Android TV box a 4k HDMI port with Kodi
and VLC connected to my monitor to keep at least 3-drives connected at any
point and for current material, I just connect to my media server via the
network.
