re par files-for years I have been using Winrar(a freebie), if you always
use "extract here" mode-ignore expiry notice if you hit "extract files"
mode by mistake.
Download it from the Winrar site.
when you install it, click the repair automatically box
choose the part files choice
when you have downloaded par files, by clicking any par2 file Winrar will
automatically check that the post is not corrupted and will repair it.
You can then click extract here and the post will automatically be
extracted.
I have been using this programe for years and never have had a problem
with it.
