When I was growing up in the 60's-70's there was a series of comedy shorts
frequently played as time filler after some movies on local stations.
They featured an announcer with a nasal voice who would talk and describe
various actions and events while actors went through various routines getting
into all sorts of difficulties. The actors were mostly silent, the only vocals
were from the announcer.
A lot of it took common ordinary jobs and would turn them on their ear. Diaper
delivery, barbers, etc.
It was fairly slapstick
Anyone have any idea what shorts these might be?
