I had no problem when I tried. Put all the files in the same folder,
ran Quickpar using the Par2, and the renaming occurred all by itself.
First showed files missing with the red icon, then began the renaming
automatically, changing to the tan icon. I've downloaded many sets
from this group (Mom) over the past year and, like Unearthly Stranger,
they've always worked just fine. I'm currently using QuickPar 0.9.1.
