Thanks for the tip. Looks like vlc and other players like xbmc either
have or are planning to have support for h265 but mpc hc works fine
(and it is better than vlc in many respects -- used to use it
regularly and appreciate having it again).
Though this encode has a different look to it, can't help be curious
what it's sourced from, dvd/bluray/digital tv/etc. Would also be
interesting to see how it works wih 720p and 1080p encoding compared
to 264 (am not close to being able to display 4k at this point)
