Thanks for your comments Tarkus. I appreciate any input someone
might have. I agree with your history lesson as I have been around here
since the very early 90s. I remember downloaing a 50k picture that took
5 minutes from bulletin boards on a very slow dial-up modem. Only to
find out that they paint files or very grainy grayscale and the size of
a postage stamp. It was really cool then though.
None of this is about me feeling good. I am very happy because I am
the one with 150 or so videotapes to digitize. I get to watch them all.
Woo Hoo! However, it takes time and effort to do this (and I am happy to
do it), but if only 3 people acknowledge this, I will have to rethink my
time priorities. I will, however, still digitize them and at least burn
them to CDs just to get them away from the video tape format. Editing,
cropping, adjusting colors, posting is what I am willing to do for the
masses. As far as I can see, most all of these videos I now have, have
never been seen on the internet. All I ask for is support. Thanks to
you, justsox, and tikibacon for your kind words.
BTW, did the Tina clip come out OK?
