Read through the Wiki's, and then start reading through the Usenet
Forum posts. It's quite a learning curve, but there is a reward for
learning how it works these days. Usenet has changed, but there are new
ways of regaining the glory of it's past. Indexers are the key.

There are several free Indexers, and several pay indexers. You can see
the list in the link above. Many of the free one's are quite good.

Also, regarding Cook's Country... you can watch those shows on the
Cook's Country website a little while after they air on TV.
