this is very helpful. as Ive said, Ive asked on the mac NG.
I do have LittleSnich and as far as I can tell back to union is blocked.
now Im back on U 1.8.x, and it seems to work after am Ap=Cleaner
cleaned out the Unison files.
its possible I have this PW in my KeyChain.
anyway, youve given me many options and I appreciate it.
