I wouldn't say that, the most common Usenet posting program for Win is
YencPowerPost which hasn't been updated since 2004! I'm running it on Win10
64bit, it was written in 32bit for XP and lower, 64bit wasn't even
affordable* for the home user when it was last updated! (*Available yes,
affordable no :))

Completely agree, conversations like this assist everyone, it's the entire
point of Usenet. Even in closed groups like this there are many lurkers who
may also benefit from the discussion.

You should NEVER have to boot in to Win, check out the WINE links in this
thread, it'll allow you to run most Win OS apps on *nix-based platforms like
OSX.
