You do NOT want to subscribe to any magazines or books from Cooks
Country/Cooks Illustrated unless you are prepared to deal with a
never-ending flow of books that you did not order.
They are infamous for sending you stuff you never ordered once you buy
any printed product from them. Then they insist that you return the
unrequested books AT YOUR EXPENSE before they'll credit your account.
My wife and I have been dealing with this nonsense with Cooks
Illustrated for several years now, and it has gone well beyond a minor
annoyance. If you Google "cooks illustrated sends unordered books"
you'll see many other tales of woe.
I love the TV shows, but man, not their shakedowns.
