just to put this all in persepective, I used to have a Faculty Library
card at Harvard. for about 10 years. used to prowl the Widener from
time to time.
even better , I had one at Stanford for about 20 years I got it when I
was in the 5th grade. a Faculty Card. few people realize that Stanford
is not in Palo Alto, its in Stanford and stanford did not have
a'public library' I fixed that Pronto.
just in case you don't realize what this means:
with a faculty card, you didnt have to return the books on the due
date, only if someone else wanted them. and you never got a fine.
