I buy rather than burn DVDs - but back up all my digital files onto
DVD or Blu-ray, as well my NAS.

Personally very happy to download in any format made available: as
stated, full DVDs often have subtitles and special features, and can
be re-ripped to individual files should one so wish.

Of course, any good media player can read a disc image anyway.

I've not needed any of those posted so far, but thanks hugely to
myob for taking the time and effort you have. It's greatly
appreciated.
