"MTB" is not the file extension. The file extensions are hidden behind
the "???". It sounds like you may have Agent 8's "Megajoin" feature
improperly turned on or off. I use Agent too but I'm not an expert on
it. Try asking in alt.usenet.offline-reader.forte-agent, where I hang
out. The people in there (especially Ralph and Jamie but others as
well) are very helpful.
