This is a bit different.
From early in the 20th century, there was a choir school attached to the Quebec City Basilica Cathedral.
That choir went on until some 30 years ago and the choir was taken over by a School Board and became a mixed choir.
In the fifties I was able to get from the then choir director a few old open end tape reels containing many live recordings made during masses or services at the cathedral or other churches, at weddings or concerts.
Subsequently I transfered the old fashioned tapes to "modern" cassettes, and still later I ripped those to three CDs.
This comes from one of these CDs.
Despite the age of the recordings and the subsequent operations, I think the condition is not too bad and though it might not have been a top notch choir, I hope it is found pleasant enough.
The recordings were made between March 1956 and July 1958.
In track 24, there is a short "deficiency": the tape came with it so I can't do anything about it :-)
