Hi Group:
I think this post could be some kind of Treble Bilboard Hit...You
know. because this Carl Orff's major work ( Carmina Burana ) is well
known by every one in every where and also many people of any taste kind
like this work...so what i want to say is that it is a very popular
classical work, but most of the many thousands cds we can find are sung
by adults in which the boys choir has just a secundary role in just two
or three small parts during the whole work.
In this recording, as same as the version sung by Drakensberg boys
choir, they perform the two pianos and percussions version and the choir
is too a full treble sopran and alt choir recording...( of course, i'm
not considering the tenors and bass who sing too ) so, it means that
school choir take the place of the secundary choir.
The the only fly on the cake is that we could not have a perfect
treble version because they also use a female sopran and a counter tenor
for the solo parts...honestly, i would have put two choristers instead
and still, we don't have a full orchestra treble choir recording
yet....some day perhaps.
Well, this time I'm not going to say "I hope you like it" because i'm
pretty sure you are going to like it.
see you and hope you...Oops !
syruply yours
