Thank you for your effort, but I'm afraid there is still a serious problem
with hum. I ran it through a hum analyzer & have attached a picture. As you
can see, it is really dead on 60 Hz, the standard AC line frequency in North
America. So I think your friend has an electrical interference problem.
I really appreciate the trouble you went to.
Take care of your health. The way things are right now, you should have lots
of spare time to finish transferring everything to your new computer!
