Thane - Re Timothy Wilson.txt
Thane,
A short story about the Tim Wilson LP..
.. back in the late seventies I was involved in and around Prep schools in the Oxfordshire area in England and in the early eighties I had moved to Exeter (England) to work. As is my custom, I listened to one or two favorite solos every morning before setting off to my work AND during that time I often played Tim singing solo of - "Hymne to God the Father - Pelham Humfrey". But, the story does not end here - after hearing my morning's choice I went off to sit for a half an hour outside of Exeter Cathedral on a bench very near one of the Towers attached to the cathedral. Each morning the glorious high voices of the Trebles floated around in the air as they rehearsed in the tower - so peaceful and heavenly. I very much admired the then Choir Director at the cathedral - Lucian Nethsihnga whos son Andrew also sang in the choir and who is now quite a name in English Cathedral circles as a Choir Director himself.
Regards,
