This is from a tape I made of a live radio concert (May 1988).
Halfway between Montreal and Quebec City, on the north shore of the Saint Lawrence River, in a small town by the name of Cap de la Madeleine, there is a well known shrine to the Virgin Mary.
Later on a choir school was started, but like so many, this choir is now a mixed choir, in fact a predominantly older girls choir.
This recording took place before the change :-)
The mass heard on the broadcast is the Mass No.4, Missa in honorem Beatae Virginis Mariae, Grosse Orgelmesse by Joseph Haydn.
