Easynews has had some troubles in the past, but this is the worst I've
seen their service in the 4 years I've been a member. I frequent some
other groups as well (dvd, mp3, warez) and friends in those groups are
having problems with Easynews as well.
I actually started to check out other providers (Astraweb, Giganews &
NNTPjunkie) and ended up getting an account with NNTPjunkie. Unlimited
downloads & uploads for $12.50 (1 Month - $14.95 / 12 Month - $12.50),
NNTP access, Web access, file search, and SSL.
Giganews was good but too pricey (unlimited - $24.99), and for some
reason I was getting slow downloads from Astraweb. I use the Web &
search on Easynews, so I also liked that NNTPjunkie offered something
similar.
