Hi Snowy:
well, well, well, well,....mhhhh, mhhhh just let me sharpen my
fingers...hehehehe. Ok, ready !
First you have to know that as same as Plovdiv side A LP, the catalog of
Schubert work is a real mess too...hehehehe.
Yeah ! hahaha The most accepted is the "D" thing which means Deutsch, and
Deutsch is because one person named "Otto Erich Deutsch" listed almost all
Schubert's works more or less chronologically, but time after, another guys
started to add the Op things during Schubert's life and after, the Opus
thing has to be when the work was published but not necessarylly means a
chronological order like Deutsch catalog ( seems that he also liked data
bases during that time too ...hahahaha ) .
So :
- All Shcubert's works has a " D " number
- A few of them have the "D" number plus another Opus or Op number too
( both tohether)
So you will find some of them with opus number and a D number too and many
others just with the D number only, i guess.
Second :
Schubert has composed the following Salve Reginas works as far i could
find:
D 27 Salve Regina in F for Soprano, Orchestra, and Organ
D 106 Salve Regina in B flat major for Tenor, Orchestra, and Organ
D 223 Salve Regina (Zweites Offertorium) in F for Soprano, orchestra, and
organ Op 47
D 379 Deutsches Salve Regina, in F
D 386 Salve Regina For chorus in B flat
D 676 Salve Regina (Drittes Offertorium, III or third ) in A major for
soprano and orchestra Op posth 153
D 811 Salve Regina in C Major for male voices and organ (Op. posth. 149)
Notice that i have put the D number in the begining...ok ? and you don't
have to worry about the op 153 because is the same as D 676 as same as op 47
is the same thing than D 223
Now the hard part, that would be the number three or third.....ahhhmmmm,
Ok, let me listen those works and i will tell you tomorrow if i could
find something about which one is which one....Ok ?
Genious ??? Nope ! ! Just the Google thing...hahahahahahaha !!...Ok, let
me listen them and i will tell you later, i think it is going to be easy
because for sure in youtube there should be a lot of examples of each
work....I hope so
Ok see you
