I agree, and one thing that has always bugged me, in particular with
the WSK, is the lack of recording dates and places, and of course the
usual reluctance to name soloists. But in the case of the Jankowitsch
twins, they had little choice. Ferdinand had a truly magnificent
voice, but it was Ernst who was apparently more successful in adult
life. I haven't yet downloaded Nene's post, but I'm hoping that it's a
better rip than mine.

And speaking of fine voices, a friend (in Somoa of all places) sent me
a track (The Holy City) by The Land of Lakes Choirboys. The soloist is
Jeremiah Alto (that's his surname!) and his voice is quite
extraordinary I think. I could post the track, and if you don't have
the CD I could request it from my friend. I have no doubt that it has
been posted in one of the treble groups before (almost everything else
has...lol).
