Good catch, Josh!
You know, there have been so many compilations, re-compilations, reissues,
remasters, etc., etc., of the WSK that I believe they could continue to
issue "new" recordings for the next 20 years without singing a note.
And on that note... I had the pleasure of attending a local WSK performance
in early December. Their sponsors, the Concert Association, provided
something like 500 free tickets to local school children who were
interested. And the WSK helped by switching the "light" part of the program
to the first half and the "serious" part to the latter half in case the
young folks wished to leave at intermission. But the kids hung right in
there and behaved well, even though the serious portion was almost entirely
Shubert.
