Hi Josh,

Yep--I ran into the same thing. I think part of it is that there was very
little detail to align. Also, the left side seemed to have some faded light
vertical streaks not present on the right side. I did like you and manually
aligned them, which wasn't too difficult, set the black point in levels to
hide the aforementioned streaks and then cleaned things up a bit.

This is easier for me unless I am fixing one for the group because I save
the covers at around 1000 pixels square for screen display when I am
listening to them rather than printing them. I usually listen through
headphones while I'm at my computer, so I rarely burn CDs, having concluded
that multiple hard drives are more reliable for archiving and an awful lot
faster...

Sometimes it's nice when automation doesn't work -- it keeps us in practice!
