I just noticed the 3 CD set of Bach's Christmas Oratorio BWV 248
posted in alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.classical. It features Peter
Schreier (adult), the Dresdner Kreuzchor and Arleen Auger among
others. I have the same recordings, but a different edition. I don't
recall the level of treble content. It may seem an odd time to
download Christmas music, but perhaps some may wish to get it while
it's still there. It was posted on December 14.
