This is a very good illustration of the difficulty of keeping up with
older WSK recordings.
These tracks appear on two 10" (25cm) LPs in my collection.
The first one (Frohe Weihnacht) has 12 tracks under the direction of
Friedrich Pleyer, and the general supervision of Ferdinand Grossmann,
if I'm guessing correctly, all the text being German.
It was recorded in September 1961.
The second one has works by Bartok, Britten and Kodaly including the
two from this post.
It was recorded in the Spring of 1962 under the direction of Hermann
Furthmoser and also the general supervision of Ferdinand Grossmann.
Now we should expect the name of the director to be the same in both
recordings!
No wonder that over the years I got a few duplicates :-)
