Hi group:
Ok i do not want to become in a seasonal poster but...you know, today
in my country is December 12...well, let's say that i myself do not know
which day is more important here in my land, if the independence's day or
this one.....mmmhh ( perhaps this one )
Our Lady of Guadalupe or "Virgen de Guadalupe" is a 16th century Roman
Catholic icon from Mexico representing a Marian apparition. It is for
sure Mexico's most popular religious and cultural image. Just imagine
that it is expected 8 million people visiting the Basilica ( Guadalupe's
church ) today...that is a lot of people.
Well the problem is that i didn't find anything with a happy motiv to
post, I was thinking on Monteverdi's Vespros della Beata Virgine but i'm
sure that the two most interesting treble version ( the Regensburguer and
Montserrat ones ) have been already posted in the past...so , instead i
found this cd recording in my archives about this Pergolesi's Stabat
Mater, i'm not sure if it has been already posted or not...but any way
it is a work dedicated to virgin Maria so in case some of you still don't
have it i think it would be a good idea to post this one...well not sure
but i hope you like it in case you don't have it yet.
About the post, there is No Warnings, everything is 100% treble,
perhaps the only thing i have to tell you is that it is not my rip.
Ok see you
nene
