Another Archiv LP with the Aachener Domchor.
This choir has a long history with ups and downs.
For a while during the 20th century, it was a choir of men, boys and women. Later on it once again returned to a choir of men and boys, as it had been for many centuries.
The LP now posted includes a mass by Lassus, sung by the men and boys choir (Domsingknaben), recorded in 1949, and 8 Latin motets, also by Lassus, sung by the full choir of men, boys and women, recorded in 1956.
I have added an orphan file, the motet by Victoria, Vidi speciosam, from an EP also recorded in 1956 by the full choir
