Your post.txt
First of all, thanks to you for the post and thanks to Thane for the usual nice covers.
I have to say that the post had me working my database quite a bit!
I first had to understand that the dates appearing for each track referred (Spelling?) to the year of composition and not to the date of recording.
Then I was not sure if that recording was a sort of compilation, as I could trace about half of the tracks to recordings in my collection.
I have to add however that I did not dare trying to compare the two versions!
Of the 11 tracks, there are 5 that I cannot match (Hannover, Freiburg, Augsburg, Thomanerchor and Kreuzchor).
I was wondering if you had any kind of info from a booklet or other source about the origin of the tracks, that is were they taken from some recording or are they original recordings?
That would be a big help.
And as to your note, I'm not sure I get it all. If you're interested in more WSK posts, I might be able to help but of course I would like more specific details.
I don't see myself starting a WSK fllod with what I have!
Finally a note to Thane regarding the tracklist in his covers.
Track 5 is in fact the Sanctus from that mass.
