Hi Rick,

Yes, I have tried that on two different computers without success. Either
DGG has some very successful protection or this particular DVD is a fluke
(which is entirely possible, as turning subtitles on introduces unacceptable
jitter no matter what media player I use, though it is fine on a DVD
player).

Thanks for the suggestion; I may try again after I have recovered from the
frustration for a few months...
