Petite-Jean is 11-years-old. He keeps a watchful eye on his two childish
uncles, Arthur and Andre. Arthur is a model citizen, but Andre has the most
famous habds in town - because they always take things that don't belong to
them.
When some chickens in town go missing, Andre is suddenly arrested, but he
denies it. That's because Petite-Jean secretly committed the crime!
When Arthur is thrown in jail without evidence, the entire town turns upside-
down. The townspeople take sides, adultry is committed, and Petite-Jean
enjoys the most memorable time in his life.
