Teenage Jack was already struggling with adolescence, when he realized his
parents were getting a divorce, but to add even more drama to the mix, during
a day of canoeing with his father, his dad informs him that he's gay!
After some bittersweet experiences, Jack learns that there is no such thing
as a perfect family, and his own is more caring, supportive and stronger than
he knew.

I watched this several years ago, but remember very little about it, now, so
I can't offer up any commentary about it, sorry :(
Goodness, it's been over two years, now, since Anton was killed, and I still
cry every time I see him. Thinking not only about the sweet little man that
he portrayed in films like this one, and "Delivering Milo", "Hearts in
Atlantis" and many others (and also his fine work as Chekov in the new Star
Trek movies, something I never thought he could do), but also that bizarre
accident that took him from us...
I miss you, Anton, I really do :)
