He's All Boy! He's All Joy! He's Curley!
A high-spirited group of youngsters, lead by the mischievous Curley, become
distressed when their beloved schoolteacher gets married and moves out of
town.
Fearing they won't like her replacement, they play pranks on their new school-
teacher, only to discover they have mistook the teacher's aunt for their new
teacher. She ends up being young, pretty, and very nice.
--OR--
"Curley" believes an unpleasant old lady is the new schoolteacher, and he and
the rest of the kids devise some wild schemes to discourage her from staying.
Their plan backfires when the real schoolmarm turns out to be young, charming
and pretty.
Curley and his gang soon discover that the savvy new instructor has a few
tricks of her own up her sleeve.

Full Disclosure: I only bought this disc for the DVD cover...
It features a horrible-looking print of the movie, just like the Alpha Video
disc that I've shared elsewhere. There probably isn't a good-quality print of
the film in existence.
Oh, it also doesn't have a Menu!
Here are my original comments from my Blog posting:
If the plot reminds you of another short film with a group of mischievous kids
and a school teacher, that's because this was created by Hal Roach Jr., the
son of the man behind the "Our Gang" ("The Little Rascals") comedies. By
1947, Roach no longer owned the rights to his "Our Gang" creation, and decided
to create a similar group of kids, to be known as "Curley and his Gang", and
star them in feature-length films shot in Cinecolor. This film is virtually a
remake --albeit with a longer running time-- of the 1930 "Our Gang" short,
"Teacher's Pet," which starred Jackie Cooper in the role now held by Larry
Olsen.
Larry Olsen is the angelic-faced little man whom you might remember from
another, somewhat more well-known film, "Sitting Pretty" (1948), where he
played alongside the great Clifton Webb, or in a bit part in "Room for One
More" (1952). He has a much bigger role in this movie, though, as the titular
William 'Curley' Benson. I really wish he'd had more starring roles so I
could gaze upon him more fully...
The movie also features Renee Beard, brother of Matthew 'Stymie' Beard, of
"Our Gang" fame, as half of the pair "Dis" & "Dat," two decidedly racist and
un-PC characters indicative of the times.
