Beware of the Dog (1964) Series

Synopsis:
The adventures of a Great Dane dog called Junia and her adoption by a family who come to live in her old home.
The Woodley family would like to get to their newly purchased farm, but are prevented tooth and nail by the huge Great Dane Junia. Soon their son David gains the confidence of the animal. David and Junia, who barks more than bites, are best friends until a Major claims the dog belongs to him.
Rather than give up his new friend, David goes into hiding with Junia, but is found and must give up his dog. While in hiding, David meets new friends Michael and Susie who are after a dog thief and suspicion soon turns toward the Major. Does he have something to do with the dog thefts?
Another "Boy and Dog "movie, the nine-year-old Sean Bury slipped into the role of David.
He and John Moulder Brown as Michael, along with their sisters and a neighbor "cowboy" go in search of the two missing dogs. Plenty of action and adventure follow as they seek out the trail of the mysterious Major to find their beloved pets.
