VS,
I noticed the same. I opened a file renamer utility & removed the
"chunk' from all filenames & then used HJSplit instead of JAS..... the
first time that it had me use another utility for splitting or
concatenation, otherwise I always have used JAS. I just did not find a
setting in JAS that dealt with the extension name thing that was going
on.
