Yes, he died a few years ago. Someone posted his obit. He was indeed Admiral Ernie and Paxton Fudge. As I recall, he would post as one guy pro Stern or something like that, and post as the other anti Stern. Basically trolling everyone. However, as Paxton Fudge, he would post commercial free shows.
