I agree with basically everything you said above. I believe his show was unique
for the comedic bits that he used to frequently have on the show. Now, I'm just
listening and hoping one of those pop up, but it's nothing but boring
interviews. The whole psychoanalysis thing he does is super boring. His
interviews used to be funny because he would ask funny questions like who they
were banging. Also, most of the interviews he thinks are big deals are
irrelevant people in today's world. Bill Murray was his huge surprise last
week. Who has had a thought about Bill Murray in the last 15 years? Same goes
for Billy Idol and Joe Perry.
