This just boggles my mind
Using my NewsLeecher app I've been able to download 255693 headers
from alt.binaries.e-book.technical from the NewsLeecher server. Older
and latest versions of Agent just get sick, puke and crash.
According to my results Rockhound posted 248191 articles starting in
15 AUG 2008 to 13 JUNE 2013. Almost every post, except the four I
counted, I found were only uploaded by Rockhound during this time.
There were also 6997 index posts in there
I noticed that only 136 of his posts were incomplete and nearly all
of those were posted later than 2008. The bottom line is Rockhound
owns alt.binaries.e-book.technical. I wonder if he has had inside
help?
Has anybody had different results from different servers
FWIW I have a very strong feeling that NewsLeecher's server is hosted
by Giganews. They seem pretty chummy with their software and service
deals. Plus their billing offices are located in Austin TX.
