I remember seeing torrents of Pathfinder stuff being taken down by the
people that posted them because they "aggressively watermarked." One
group even said that there would be no further Paizo releases until they
figured out their new watermarking scheme.
I've heard of some companies embedding watermarks in the metadata of
images within the document. RPGNow used to have a hidden text field with
your name, order number AND IP address that was off the page completely
and to the right.
I'll do my homework and see what I can find. The Humble Bundle is on for
another 13 days, and it's for charity. I think it would be best to wait
till the bundle is over before anything get distributed. I don't mind
sharing, but I don't want to screw over a charity.
Besides, last night, I couldn't even download my purchases, because their
server was so slammed.
