That was me, and it was seven months ago. ;-)
IIRC, I also replaced one or two pages (near the back I think) as
well. It is not 100% identical.
Determining printing versions is difficult with early TSR hardcovers,
since they mixed-n-matched covers and content when they started
running short of the one or the other. The 8th printing had the new
cover but its frontspiece still referred to the original cover and
artist. This was fixed in the 9th printing.
