I can post it this weekend. Most who have seen the director's cut don't
like it as well as the original. There is a nice Ben Gazzara interview,
though.

:Lola is really his backstory. Plus they used the same LeGrand theme

:reminisces about Lola to Mme Emery in Umbrellas -- but they expanded
:on the theme for Umbrellas.
Demy spent the rest of his life attempting to duplicate the success of
'Umbrella', but sometimes a film is just 'magic' and it is impossible
to 'bottle' that magic.
