Hello all-
First let me extend a note of heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the
expert posters who have made this group such a USENET powerhouse. I
began monitoring this group about eight months ago and my experience
with world cinema has been expanded dramatically. Through you I have
become familiar for the first time with auteurs like Ozu, Clouzot,
Dreyer, Malle, and Makavejev, to name a few, and my appreciation for
other filmmakers with whom I was somewhat familiar has deepened. For
this I am eternally grateful.
I have a request: would you consider doing reposts now that the group
is a year old and that most of the CC has now been posted? Many of you
are crossing off the last titles on your "must have" lists, but because
I became aware of the group late in the game, I missed out on some
movies I really want to see (or see again).
Please don't bother responding to this request by posting more .nzb. My
IP provides access to GigaNews, which I understand is a pretty good
news server, and while retention is pretty good by this group's
standards, none of the titles on the list below are accessable to me
using .nzb. Even the few "premium" servers I've browsed don't seem to
have any of the (non-BluRay) titles below available, so I'm not
particularly enthusiastic about paying for access to a server that
might not do the job.
So, I want to ask: will some kind soul please consider reposts of the
following titles? I'd appreciate it.
