Hello!
I use Newsguy. Among the reasons why are:
1. Your unused gigabytes roll over to the next month, with no limit.
I currently have half a terabyte [sic] of rolled-over bandwidth. Of
course, if you get the unlimited plan, then rollover is moot.
2. This is a minor and trivial reason, I admit, but Newsguy lets you
create your own user name and password. Giganews, understandably so,
assigns you a permanent user name. For security purposes, it's
complex, but I'd never memorize it in a million years.
Newsguy's retention is excellent, their servers are fast, and the
completion rate is excellent (although with PAR sets, that hasn't been
much of an issue). Giganews' rentention rate is longer.
I'm not a shill for Newsguy. I've used Giganews in the past and
they're excellent.
Giganews permits 50 concurrent connections; Newsguy has 32.
If 25 bucks for unlimited service is affordable to you, then I'd go
with Giganews, no question or doubt.
Newsguy gives you 60 gigs per month for 11 bucks, with unused gigs
rolling over. Their unlimited service is 20 bucks.
