That does seem long, have you definitely got the "Compression method" in winrar set to 'store'
rather than anything else. 'Store' simply splits the file into multiple parts the size of which
you dictate, the other options effort a compression which takes both a long time for yourself,
the compressor, but also a long time for the extractor.
Seperately, if you search in this group for 'NZB project' you will see the titles from the
Criterion Collection already uploaded to either this group or others. There are a few that are
getting close to falling off of the premium servers, but most are still repairable. I have
personally collected all bar around 20 titles from the full catalogue in the last 2 months alone.
To my mind the following have not been posted in their 'untouched' form in the past 400 days or so.
If you have any of these untouched, there are are probably a few people who would appreciate them:
050 - And the Ship Sails On [Federico Fellini, 1984]
156 - Hearts and Minds [Peter Davis]
191 - Jubilee [Derek Jarman]
198 - Ali: Fear Eats the Soul [Rainer Werner Fassbinder]
204 - The Marriage of Maria Braun [Rainer Werner Fassbinder, 1978]
205 - Veronika Voss [Rainer Werner Fassbinder, 1982]
211 - The Silence [Ingmar Bergman, 1963]
289 - Hoop Dreams [Steve James, 1994]
303 - Bad Timing [Nicolas Roeg, 1980]
375 - Green for Danger [Sidney Gilliat, 1946]
383 - Brute Force [Jules Dassin, 1947] *The NZB project only leads to an avi.
434 - Classe tous risques [Claude Sautet]
Good luck,
mookah
