Hello Mysnd,
Let not your heart be troubled!
I can assure you that posting to a single group has no effect on that group's
retention. Counter-intuitive? Perhaps.
As of today, 28 December, this group is 448 days old. I don't know what
Astraweb's current retention might be, but I think Giganews can cover that
duration.
I don't care to see Blu-ray on this group, either, but not for your reason.
Blu-ray simply doesn't belong here. The good news is that you probably won't see
any more of it here & so you will have to traverse over to a.b.criterion for
future Blu-ray releases.
As far as not all of the .NZB's being able to retrieve complete files, that is a
rather provincial opinion stemming from the limited vantage point of a single
NSP.
The more cosmopolitan mind would realize that the degree of success would vary
in direct proportion to the quality factor of the NSP being implemented. If
Astraweb users would check their paths more often, they might be surprised at
the lack in pedigree of some of the individual servers. Lately, mongrels abound.
