Well, choose your pleasure:
One disc (El Topo only):
http://www.anchorbayentertainment.com/index.asp?p=CatalogDetail&SKU=DV76000&PriCatID=4&GenreID=0
and
http://www.amazon.com/El-Topo-Alejandro-Jodorowsky/dp/B000NY1E8U
or the boxset that you've mentioned:
http://www.anchorbayentertainment.com/index.asp?p=MultipackBuy&SKU=DV76002&PriCatID=0&GenreID=0
and
http://www.amazon.com/Films-Alejandro-Jodorowsky-Fando-Mountain/dp/B000NY1E9E
The only Jodorowsky boxset I've seen was from Anchor Bay, so you probably meant that one above. It
has four of his films (La Cravate (1957) Fando y Lis (1968) El Topo (1970) Holy Mountain (1973)) +
CD audio with soundtrack.
Choice one I've got on hand (can up around 4th of July). Choice two is 25 gigs so it would be only
early next week (post 4th of July).
PS -- Though Jodorowsky is a great choice, I'm a bit worried that these groups (criterion+classics)
are becoming a place for avant-garde (i.e. weird) or experimental stuff. I mean, c'mon -- in the
past few days La Jetee, then Bela Tarr, next Jodorowsky :P
J
