Clearly I was misunderstanding something about the message headers.
In my own message headers, I see this line:
User-Agent: ForteAgent/7.20.32.1218
This matches the version of Agent I am using, so I assumed I
understood what it represented. Since I saw the same field in your
messages, with a different version, I assumed you also used Agent.
When you said you didnt, I was puzzled. I wish I had investigated
before mentioning it, but I didnt. Today when I examine other folks
messages, sometimes I find that field, mostly I dont. But I did find
the field in messages from a local personal friend that I know doesn't
use Agent, so whatever that field is used for, I cant say, but now I
know I was mistaken about what it means.
sorry about that. I meant nothing offensive, or invasive. I just
like understanding how things work, and appreciated your help.
perhaps i have learned to keep my mouth shut. :)
