FYI, there's a difference between a SATA multiplier card and a SATA interface
card. The former allows multiple SATA drives to be connected to a single SATA
port, while the latter gives you extra dedicated SATA ports. A multiplier will be
slow if you are reading and writing from multiple drives through the same data
lane on the motherboard.
