Huh? Compared to China, the US is a rank amateur where surveillance
pervasiveness, dishonesty, and paranoia are concerned. The Chinese
have had a lot more experience (several thousand years' worth) than we
have; for another, we're much more tranparent (not to say guileless)
about it when we get caught at it.
