Thanks Spike! Sure, yeah, I agree with all that you said, at least
about what Pink Floyd, whom i love, was saying. I have heard mixed
reviews about Alex Jones, so not sure about where he stands... my
point was maybe more specific to the political divide in America, and
how the anti-liberal forces have been dumbing down society, but that's
way too complex to try to explain or defend here, so, "nuff said" on
that! but hard to shut up once i start! for example, consider who
Trump appointed as Secretary of Education... did you know that about
40% or more of americans sincerely believe in creation science, and
distrust "real" science, like evolution and global warming? now, i've
said too much for sure, but when people use the word liberal as an
insult and a smear, this is not from wisdom speaking. that's what i
meant about the need for a genuine education... one that's not biased
for some religion. liberal is not a bad word, but has the same root
as liberty, meaning freedom... freedom from bias, in this case. that
is what it is supposed to mean. open to evidence based truth, as
opposed to blind faith based "truth". truth is not a matter of
opinion, but of facts.
by the way, i love yer signature about binary, very clever.
here's another i like:
in theory, there is no difference between theory and practice.
in practice, there is.
